Shipping Policy

DUE TO COVID, UPS HAS NO GUARANTEES THIS YEAR.  THE SHIPPING DAYS HAVE BEEN PADDED IN ORDER TO BE PREPARED FOR UNKNOWN CIRCUMSTANCES.  PLEASE SHIP EARLY TO BE SURE YOUR WINE WILL ARRIVE ON TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. 

All orders require a 24 hour processing period to pull and pack from the winery. You will receive a tracking email, if you provided an email address, directly from the freight company once the order is received by them. Wine shipments are sent out Monday-Wednesday to ensure that wine does not sit in a warehouse over the weekend and endure extreme temperatures that could cause freezing or heat damage which could lead to spoilage. Orders accepted Wednesday-Sunday will be processed and shipped the next Monday, unless otherwise directed by the customer. There are other, more expensive shipping options such as 3-day, 2-day and next day delivery. When you place an order with We The People Wines, you are guaranteed that upon delivery the wines will be just as our winemaker intended them to be. We monitor all shipments daily, particularly during periods of extreme temperatures, and delivery issues are dealt with quickly and accordingly.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf in arranging for transportation of the wine at your direction. Freight and taxes (if appropriate) are calculated towards the end of the online ordering process. Please note that a signature from an adult (21 years or older) is always required upon delivery. We ship only within the United States.

Prices of our wines do not include shipping or handling charges. Shipping charges are calculated depending on destination, number of bottles ordered, and choice of delivery option.

Required Legal Notice

All wine orders must be placed by a person 21 years of age or older. Shipper requires verification of age at the time of delivery. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. The order may be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to the winery. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer. We recommend use of a business address to facilitate delivery of your purchase. No delivery to P.O. Boxes.

The shipping information related to an order (but not the purchase information) will be shared with the shipping company We The People Wines use for any given order.
